You can access remote devices and get the files you need for your work.
Here is how it works.

Ever heard the saying: Two people cannot walk together if they don’t agree? That’s the idea behind AnyDesk. First, the remote device must grant access to the local device. Then the two must be able to communicate.
In order for a remote device to access your local computer, you must install AnyDesk on both computers. Then adjust the remote device’s settings.
How will the devices communicate? Via the AnyDesk ID generated by the remote device.
While it sounds simple, there are some technical issues to deal with. The following sections will walk you through all the steps required to get unattended access.

- Click Apply.
Now it’s time to connect the devices.
- Open AnyDesk on local and remote devices.
- Find and copy the AnyDesk ID or Address on the remote device. It’s the nine-digit number in the upper left corner.
- Enter the ID on your local device.
- On the local device, under Authorization, enter the password you set on the remote device.
- If you do not want to use a password every time you log in, check “Automatically log in from now on”.
Note: When you do this, the remote device presents a password token to the local device allowing the remote computer to automatically accept connections without a password. If you want to undo this option, go to the remote device security settings and select “Clear all tokens” or change the unattended remote access password. - Click OK.
Possible problems
If you follow the steps above, AnyDesk should run seamlessly. However, sometimes you may encounter frustrating unattended remote access errors. Let’s discuss why these errors occur and how to fix them.
- Lack of Internet Connection: If your unattended remote access fails, it may be that your local or remote device does not have an Internet connection. Turn on the Internet on both devices and try to reconnect.
- Modify password or clear tokens: This common problem may cause unattended access errors. If someone clears all tokens or resets the unattended access password, the local device will be locked. You will need to set up unattended access again.
- Antivirus software: Have you recently installed antivirus software on the remote device or enabled restrictive firewall settings? The former will cause problems establishing a remote connection, while the latter will deny the connection. You should (temporarily) disable the antivirus software and undo the firewall settings.
- The local device is blocked: If the remote device blacklists the local device, the two will not be able to work together. You will not be able to perform unattended remote access until the remote device removes you from the blacklist.
So, if you are facing unattended access error, check if any of the above mentioned errors are the cause.
How secure is AnyDesk unattended access?
The benefits of AnyDesk unattended access are numerous. However, this privilege does not come without security risks. Scammers are everywhere on the internet, and if they gain access to your device, the results can be disastrous.
So, what security features does AnyDesk implement to protect all your local and remote activities?
Advanced data encryption
Every unattended access user wants their data to be sealed and no unauthorized connections can access remote devices. AnyDesk understands these concerns, so it employs TLS 1.2 protocol to verify each connection. If AnyDesk cannot confirm the connection, it immediately drops it.
Permissions
This feature adds a security layer to your activities. You can define controls for connected devices. In addition, you can set up two-factor authentication. Without the security key, third parties cannot connect to your device.
Privacy Mode
You don’t want anyone to know what you’re doing by looking at your remote device. That’s where privacy mode comes in. It allows you to dim the screen on your remote device to prevent anyone nearby from seeing the information. To activate private mode, always make sure the desktop icon in the address bar is bold.
Safety reminder
AnyDesk cares about the security of its users. They regularly remind you of the best security practices on their blog, social networking sites, and newsletters. With this, you will always be on guard and away from prying eyes.
Improve your remote productivity
With AnyDesk, you can access your work on your device without being physically present. All you need to do is download AnyDesk and set up unattended access from your remote device. With stringent security features, your data transfer is safe.
