Resolving AnyViewer Video Wall Status Discrepancies for Accurate Device Monitoring
Experiencing discrepancies between your video wall's offline status and actual device performance can undermine trust in monitoring systems. Discover solutions to ensure accuracy.
1. Issue
I understand that the offline status on the video wall does not necessarily reflect the actual status of the device. I have verified that there are no issues with the client devices themselves and they remain online.
However, we rely primarily on the video wall to monitor the status of all devices, and I am concerned that it often shows devices as offline, even though they are confirmed to be online and responsive through device management. We have tried increasing the refresh rate as you suggested, but the problem persists and seems to be getting more frequent.
This discrepancy is concerning because it undermines our trust in the video wall as a reliable monitoring tool. If the video wall shows that the device is offline, but the device management shows that the device is online, this inconsistency can lead to confusion and misjudgment.
Is it possible to investigate and resolve the synchronization issue between the video wall and the device management system? Ensuring accurate display of the video wall is critical to our operations.
2. Cause
The status on the screen wall indicates whether a control connection has been established with the controlled machine, not whether the machine is online.
3. Solution
This is a design flaw that does not conform to people’s normal understanding and needs to be optimized.
